Our passes provide you with the opportunity to visit area museums
and attractions for free or at reduced admission prices. Please check the website of the museum
you are planning to visit before reserving the pass as they may have special instructions for

Most of our passes can be printed at home, or we can print them for you in the Children's Department.
A pass is printable if there is a printer icon located next to the venue name. All other passes must be
picked up and returned to the main library.
Availability: Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance and can only be used on the
specific date chosen. Please cancel your reservation if you are unable to visit on that date so that another
patron can use the pass.
To place a reservation: Log into the system using your library card number and PIN.
Reservations can only be made using an adult library card. Your PIN is the one used for our online catalog, Encore.
If you do not remember your PIN or have never created one, please call the Check Out Desk at 860-224-3155, ext. 110
to reset it.
Check Out and Return: Printed passes do not need to be returned to the library.
Checked-out passes may be picked up after 6:00 PM the day before its use. Passes are to be returned by 6:00 PM the
day after your visit. They are not renewable.
Deposit/Replacement: Passes that are picked up at the library require a $20.00 cash
deposit which will be returned to you when the pass is returned on time. If the pass is returned late, you forfeit
your deposit. Patrons are responsible for the full price in the event that a pass is lost.
