Time For Tots
Ages: Under 3
Times: Fridays at 10:00 am
Location: Main Library

This is a weekly program for children and adults consisting of two basic activities: using library toys with your child and participating in mini-storytimes. Children and parents are not expected to stay for the full 1½ hours. You may come and go as is comfortable for your child and the group. Parents must stay with their child at all times and use the toys with them. This will help children develop the art of sharing and learn respect for others and for toys. This program is restricted to children under three years old and their caregivers.

 

Terrific Tots
Ages: 2 ½ - 3 ½
Times: Mondays at 10:00 am, mid-September through mid-May
Location: Main Library

This is a more formal program for parents and children to participate in together. At the end of each session, there is time to play with the toys selected especially for this age group. Regular attendance is important to provide continuity and familiarity with the library and library personnel. Please arrive on time; late arrivals disrupt the continuity of the program.

 

Super Kids
Ages: 3-5
Times: Wednesdays at 10:00 am
Location: Main Library

This is a weekly program for more experienced listeners. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes. Children 3 and older are encouraged to stay alone in the story hour room so that they can become comfortable being apart from their parents for a short period of time. However, parents must stay in the Children’s Department. Late arrivals will not be admitted because they disrupt the continuity of the program.

 

Family Story Hour
Ages: 3-8
Times: Thursdays at 6:30 pm
Location: Main Library

This is a weekly program for families to attend together. Activities include stories and a film or craft. The program lasts 30-45 minutes.
