Celebrate National Poetry Month with an afternoon of laughter at the New Britain Public Library. Performance poet and comedian Andy Weil will make patrons laugh, cry, remember, and commiserate as they listen to him joke about life issues and current events through his hilarious poetry!
The New Britain Public Library will highlight Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April with local author Roberta Dolan, a former special education teacher in New Britain. Roberta will share her experience of childhood sexual abuse and how she was able to not only survive but actually overcome the obstacles in her path toward recovery and the healing process.
