Luffy sets off on an adventure with his pirate crew in hopes of finding the greatest treasure ever, known as the "One Piece." Snacks will be provided.

Learn to Play the Ukulele

Want to try an instrument that is fun and easy to play? Join Julie Stepanek as she shows the fundamentals of ukulele playing. No experience necessary. Ukuleles provided.
Julie Stepanek lives in a forest in western Massachusetts where she raised a son and taught herself how to play the ukulele. She has been teaching and making music at libraries, senior centers and preschools throughout New England for the past twelve years.

National Drawing Day is May 16th, and to celebrate, the NBPL would like to invite patrons to submit a drawing of your favorite book related character, place or object for a chance to win a prize! Winners will be picked on May 10th. Registration is required. Patrons may register and submit their drawings at the Reference, Teen or Children's desks. All ages are welcome to participate. Limit one drawing per patron, please.
